Surely there came to them narratives (of the ancient nations) that should suffice to deter (them from transgression),

وَلَقَدْ جَٓاءَهُمْ مِنَ الْاَنْـبَٓاءِ مَا ف۪يهِ مُزْدَجَرٌۙ

Ve lekad caehum minel enbai ma fihi muzdecer.
